Purpose of the role:
To support the IT Project Manager and senior leads to manage and report against the IT project portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the IT Project Manager to support and run the client/enterprise application support, data services and QA IT projects
- Project manage projects assigned by the IT Project Manager to support the Client and Enterprise Applications Senior Leads
- Working with the IT Project Manager and IT Teams to support the centralised planning and project management competence for application support, data services and QA
- Provide planning and scheduling updates into the centralised Group change management function
- Work closely with business change agents to ensure IT resources and budgets are aligned to the delivery of business outcomes
Skills required:
- Experience collaborating with teams and supporting the delivery of project goals whilst assisting team leads to manage resources against agreed timeframes
- Strong understanding and compliance with formalised Change Control methodologies and processes
- Experience responding and delivering against local business demands in the context of wider Group strategies
- Experience working in an Agile framework would be advantageous, although training will be provided
