Purpose of the role:
Your primary role will be to provide general and administrative support to Investment Managers to ensure that the client receives first class service and the functions which you undertake as an Administrator, are coordinated and delivered in a timely and accurate fashion.
Responsibilities:
- Collate new account documentation to ensure that they are fully and accurately completed and that all necessary documentation is provided by liaising with Client on-boarding & the Investment Manager
- Assist the Investment Manager in Preparing Investment Policy Statements, ensuring that information around client’s objectives, risk profile and financial situation is accurately recorded and that any discrepancies are investigated and resolved
- Assist the Head of Investment Management administration and liaise with the Investment Manager in the Distribution of account opening packs to clients, intermediaries, including fiduciaries and financial advisers
- Communicate to all new clients, intermediaries, including fiduciaries and financial advisers, the opening of the account, IPS, payment and transfer details
- Monitor the progress and timeliness of account opening and cash/asset transfers, reconciling to meet client service standards and keep all relevant internal and external parties informed
- Liaising with private clients, intermediaries including fiduciaries and financial advisers to support them in resolving general ad-hoc administration queries, Figaro reporting which includes valuations, statements and tax requests
Skills required:
- Previous experience in Front Office environment, ideally within Investment Management, with a good understanding of Back Office functions
- General Knowledge of Investments and Securities
- Understanding of Anti Money laundering and Client due diligence
- Sound technical knowledge of current legislative, industry and products relevant to industry
