Purpose of the role:
The IAA plays a key role in the dynamic and challenging investment management business. The position offers regular interaction with Directors, Senior Management, and other key investment personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming visitors to the business office and preparation of the room
- Assist Investment Advisers in ongoing client meetings and reviews
- Assist with client instructions and onward transfer of same to custodians
- Helping to resolve client queries and requests where possible
- Manage closure process when required
- Preparation and input of business expenses
- Management of incoming/outgoing mail
- Monitoring and maintenance of various registers, diary cards, and diarised work
Skills required:
- 2+ years of direct investment business experience; IT literate
- Educated to A level
- Good understanding of private client investment business
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; exemplary professional behaviour
- Sound analytical skill, reasoning, and detail-orientation
