Purpose of the role:
You will provide support across the Group on all matters concerning their Internal Controls Framework.
Responsibilities:
- Provide insight and drive best practice in relation to their internal control environment
- Design and deliver checklist/control updates and new procedures in response to areas such as changes in regulation/legislation, feedback from the business and new risks/incidents identified
- Assist with the design of testing
- Review and analysis of testing undertaken by other team members
- Analyse findings to provide thematic feedback and recommendations for control and other improvements
- Actively manage the performance and development of direct reports
- Demonstrate effective communications with the team and the business providing regular reporting feedback so that all targets are met and stakeholders are engaged
Skills required:
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and proactively identify and deal with problems
- You would be expected to be studying for or have obtained professional qualifications supportive of the skills, knowledge and expertise
- A broad technical understanding of a wide range of platforms and technologies
- Knowledge of ISAE3402 controls testing would be an advantage
- Proven practical experience in developing policies and procedures and the successful implementation of these into a business
