Purpose of the role:
You will work closely with the Senior External Communications Manager and Head of Business Development to ensure that all communications are aligned to the strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Advising senior stakeholders and subject-matter experts on appropriate methods and channels of communications
- Working closely with individuals to assist in the drafting and refining of their key messages
- Identifying and developing appropriate channels of internal communication and offering guidance and training as to your use
- Driving the appropriate use of their Intranet and advising on the future evolution of the platform
- Full participation in the global projects and initiatives run by the Global Marketing department
- Endeavour towards developing an excellent working understanding of the global firm, practices, local jurisdiction and markets, key messages and trends, including attending lawyer product training where appropriate
Skills required:
- You should be degree qualified (ideally covering business or marketing related subjects) or hold the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma in Marketing or equivalent
- Preferably > [8/10] years' communications experience, legal services experience preferable but not essential
- Experience in an internal communications role, preferably within a partnership environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
