Purpose of the role:
To provide a reliable, supportive and proactive HR service to the business, promoting best practice in all areas and maintaining high levels of confidentiality. Working in a fast-paced environment in an HR Generalist role, with a strong focus on reporting. This role includes, delivering reports, dashboards, analytics and insights in HR analytics and reviewing requests for additional reports and ad hoc reports and creating them.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all HR related processes are administered smoothly, efficiently and accurately
- Manage short or long term employee absence cases
- Providing accurate reporting of HR Management Information
- Ensuring that the process for salary reviews, bonuses, benchmarking and other numerical data are administered accurately and effectively
- Ensuring that all data on the HR database is accurate and up to date at all times
- Provide support to the Resourcing Team for interviewing and selection of new hires in partnership with line managers
- Assisting the Resourcing Manager with recruitment campaigns when required
- Drafting wording for recruitment adverts and liaising accordingly with Marketing
or third parties
- Advising Managers on recruitment and selection best practice
- Advising Managers and Directors on recruitment needs, team structures and vacancy descriptions
- Drafting contracts of employment/offer letters
- Deal with all employee issues in line with best practice and employment law
- Updating the Employee Handbook as necessary and ensuring the relevant communications with the employee
- Assisting with all performance, disciplinary and grievance cases
- Dealing with employee queries and concerns
- Undertake exit interviews and reporting findings
Skills required:
- A Levels or equivalent
- CIPD - Level 5 (or similar)
- A minimum of 5 years experience working in HR Administration or other specialist HR role
- Experience in designing and building HR analytics - reports, dashboards, insights, predictive modelling
- Experience working in an organisation within the financial services industry
- Experience of developing and coaching others
