Purpose of the role:
As the HR Director, your role is a key strategic position, and has a great mix of leadership, strategic thinking, influencing behavioural change and delivering fast paced change implementation. Although this role offers strategic elements you must be prepared to also recognise that this can be a hands-on operational role at times, and thrive on being fully involved in every aspect of HR.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a HR team of c.40 people supporting our full network of offices. This includes HR Operations, Resourcing, Business Partners, Talent & Development and Diversity & Inclusion
- In addition, you will work very closely with office practice managers and senior managers across different jurisdictions, in order to influence and implement change appropriate to local office needs
- The business change agenda is exciting, innovative and you'll be part of the team driving this forward, where you will be able to contribute much more than simply being there for your HR expertise
- You will be part of a team of talented Business Services Directors, working together to share ideas and co-create new strategies to drive the business forward
Skills required:
- Strong HR background and leadership within an international firm with a track record of supporting growth and market leading people activities
- Confidence to operate and have a view at board level, with the ability to influence behaviour at Partner and senior management level
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to fully engage, provide stretch and development and motivate a team of HR professionals
