Purpose of the role:
The Reward, Data and Controls Business Partner is responsible for managing all aspects of compensation, benefits, analysis of HR data and execution of HR control.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly end-to-end payroll for Jersey and Guernsey using GrassRoots / PeopleSoft and HSBC Net, ensuring compliant and timely treatment for income tax and social security purposes
- Perform monthly headcount reconciliation
- Lead, in conjunction with the insurance broker and benefit providers, the annual benefit renewal process for all Insured benefits, including analysis of loss ratio and negotiation of rates and terms
- Complete and submit all post-CRP controls
- Lead the annual employee engagement survey process; complete a detailed analysis of the results for territory management; work with key management stakeholders to execute identified improvement initiatives
Skills required:
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a Finance or payroll / compensation and benefits role
- Resilience to work under pressure calmly and efficiently and to meet tight deadlines
- Strong client focus
- Knowledge of or experience in the Financial Services sector
