Purpose of the role:
Are you an experienced leader in programme delivery, seeking an exciting new challenge with an award winning firm? Our client is looking for a Head of Programme Delivery to join their global team to collaborate to scope, define and deliver the outputs from relevant Committees to deliver the firm's global strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for continuously improving operational systems, business process and reporting across the firm, in response to meeting global strategic objectives
- Participate in shaping the firm's next strategic planning cycle and formulate the required programme of operational change
- Lead and manage an integrated, high quality and proactive team to ensure that business change across the firm is focused, appropriate, aligned to the strategy and delivered effectively and efficiently
- Maintain and nurture a standard project management methodology and business change process - covering initiation, analysis, approval, testing and implementation as part of both a project delivery methodology and completion of non-project initiatives/tasks
- Promote and develop collaborative working with internal and external resources in order to achieve continuous improvement in the provision of services
Skills required:
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with a strong understanding of the human side of change management and the alignment of this to the firm's culture, values and people
- Demonstrable capability to lead complex, multi-jurisdictional projects through to successful completion
- Attention to detail with the ability to work closely and effectively with a diverse group of people at all levels and to establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships
- Educated to degree or equivalent and can demonstrate significant knowledge gained through experience in a similar work environment
- Hold a recognised Project Management qualification, eg PRINCE2
- At least 10 years' experience delivering project management, business analysis and business change within the legal and/or financial services environment
- Experience and knowledge of systems and business processes specific to the legal and/or financial services environment
