Purpose of the role:
As Head of Operations, you will lead a team providing technical support where required.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake regular meetings with direct reports to discuss performance and development goals
- Undertake ad-hoc meetings with direct reports to provide technical support and guidance on operational matters
- Be responsible for Operation’s delivery of services/work in a timely, accurate and of high quality
- Ensure that all services provided by the Operations team are excellent
- Have a positive and solution-orientated approach liaising with local and global colleagues where required
- Work with internal control functions and external advisors where required
- Provide guidance and support on technical matters to internal colleagues within TFE
- Identify and manage risks within the team and escalate any concerns
- Undertake other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Head of Trust and Head of TF&E
- Provide accurate reporting on operational matters as requested from time to time
Skills required:
- A relevant professional qualification e.g. accounting
- Experience in team leadership
- A minimum of ten years' experience in Financial Services, ideally with an Operational or Finance focus
- Knowledge of Trust and Company law and associated accounting practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop close working relationships with both colleagues and clients
