About the role:
Reporting into the Global Head of Fund Administration, you will be responsible for contributing to the implementation and development of the Fund Administration Service Line in Jersey. This includes the management and development of the growing Fund Administration team in accordance with the firms vision and culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the fund administration team based in Jersey, ensuring each team member is aligned to the client service and system focus of the strategy
- Mentor the Jersey Fund Administration team by supporting training and development of staff members
- Develop, implement and monitor robust control framework, policies and procedures for all elements of the Jersey service provision. Ensure these policies and procedures are compliant with Jersey regulations
- Act as a Client Relationship Manager for Fund Administration clients domiciled in Jersey. Be ultimately responsible for the timeliness and accuracy on all matters relating to Fund Administration for Jersey domiciled funds
- Develop strong relationships with all relevant Legal Partners and the wider team
- Work closely with the other Jersey Department Heads to improve internal collaboration and to expand
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years relevant funds experience servicing Alternative Funds
- Qualified Accountant or Chartered Secretary qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of Jersey domiciled funds and have substantial experience working with JPFs and closed-ended fund structures
- Be extremely knowledgeable of the fund administration industry, including relevant regulatory obligations
- Have experience as a Board director of regulated entities
- Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems
- Excellent leadership, management and influencing skills. A role model and team player
