Purpose of the role:
You will be a strong leader and communicator, who will actively contribute to process and system improvements and will work closely with the senior members of the Finance team and wider business.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the management, leadership and development of the cross-jurisdictional Finance Operations teams
- Oversee the day-to-day operational support of the teams, setting and hitting service level targets
- Responsibility for leveraging team resources and improving processes to provide the business with effective and efficient finance operations support
- Driving effective and compliant cashiering, accounts payable, billing and revenue control processes across the business
- Ensure compliance with client money regulations through adequate and appropriate controls and procedures
- Responsibility for ensuring daily/monthly balancing and reconciliation of accounts across all jurisdictions
Skills required:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred, part-qualified considered with appropriate experience
- At least 5 years' experience within a law firm, professional or financial services setting, with strong working knowledge of Finance Operations and related processes
- Strong people management skills with at least 5 years' team management experience across multiple jurisdictions and staff levels
- Experience of motivating and developing others to achieve business objectives and personal goals
