Purpose of the role:
To plan, implement, and oversee data integration from external source systems into different internal target systems to meet the businesses analysis and reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for all external data being received and the integration of this data into the internal accountancy system
- Set up and design multiple data feeds from external data providers (generally Banks) to create automatic bookkeeping in the internal accountancy system
- Be the main point of contact with external data providers on the retrieval of high volumes of data
- Act as a high-level point of reference on internal data issues
- Help internal resources within the IT and Operations team develop in the data warehousing area
- Work closely with the Manager of Operations, assisting on the business analysis architecture
Skills required:
- 5 or more years’ experience in Data warehousing
- Be able to create and administer databases and tables, and understand concepts such as indexing and backups, table keys, constraints and properties related to database objects and error handling
- Hold relevant professional qualifications such as Microsoft Exam’s 70-463 and 70- 461
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV Business Central
