Purpose of the role:
To provide the business with a highly robust, secure and cost-effective infrastructure foundation upon which to operate.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain expert knowledge of infrastructure systems including networks and hosting environments
- Manage all technical matters including liaison with service providers (recommending, planning and managing new system/platform installs, integrations, upgrades, maintenance, migrations etc)
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with the service providers and external technical support teams ensuring high quality service, responsiveness and value for money
- Ongoing configuration of the infrastructure systems to enhance security whilst maintaining and enhancing business process efficiency
- Creation and maintenance of user facing and Technology department documentation and instructions/wiki
Skills required:
- At least 7 years’ experience of supporting all aspects of corporate infrastructure, preferably in a financial services environment
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- CCSP/CISSP/CISM/MCSE or equivalent
