About the role:
This is a hands-on senior role within Group Finance, responsible for the design, execution and continuous improvement of our client's multi-jurisdiction statutory reporting and regulatory capital & liquidity framework across Luxembourg, Jersey, Guernsey and the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Group’s consolidated reporting requirements related to new financing arrangements, including:
- Preparation and submission of monthly consolidated Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements on a statutory (FRS 102) basis
- Calculation and reporting of normalisation adjustments for EBITDA and Net Operating Cash Flow
- Preparation of quarterly covenant compliance reports and supporting analysis for lenders and the Board
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant financing and statutory obligations
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts quickly and independently for multiple entities, applying FRS 102 (UK GAAP) and Lux GAAP with precision, own close timetables and drive process efficiency
- Build, maintain and enhance regulatory capital and liquidity forecasting models; implement and evidence jurisdiction-specific requirements including CSSF own funds (Luxembourg), ANLA (Jersey) and FRR Fiduciary and POI (Guernsey). Continuously monitor positions and early-warning indicators to identify, escalate and prevent breaches
Skills and experience:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience in regulated financial-services groups
- Demonstrable expertise in FRS 102 and Lux GAAP, and in preparing multi-entity statutory accounts
- Proven track record building and maintaining regulatory capital and liquidity models across Luxembourg, Jersey and Guernsey frameworks (CSSF/ANLA/FRR)
- Experience engaging constructively with auditors and potentially regulators (CSSF, JFSC, GFSC)
- Advanced three-statement financial modelling and scenario/stress testing; exceptional Excel skills and familiarity with BI/visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI).
