Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Group’s data protection framework and status and providing primary support to all jurisdictions in which the company operates in respect of data protection matters.
Skills required:
- Provide data protection support and guidance across the Group, ensuring (where possible) a consistent approach is being adopted
- Timely response to external matters, including but not limited to analysis of data protection breaches and subject access requests
- Provide regular reporting and management information to legal entity boards and Group Organisational Risk Forum
- Proactive analysis of changes to data protection requirements and implement appropriate changes to the existing control environment across the Group
- Monitoring compliance with data protection requirements, including but not limited to ownership of data policies and processes
- Work with key stakeholders and data owners to maintain an accurate and up to date data audit map and in conjunction with Technology, maintain the control environment to enable compliance with data requirements
Skills required:
- 5+ years seniority in relevant risk, data or operational roles
- Full understanding of local data protection requirements
- Strong knowledge of fiduciary and funds practices, including regulatory requirements
- Proven initiative and capability in supporting senior leaders
- High quality communication skills - verbal, presentational and written
