Purpose of the role:
Our client is seeking a Group Accountant to work in their Finance team. The purpose of this role is to support the Group Head of Finance in maintaining and developing the group financial reporting function.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop the quarterly/monthly Group consolidation Reporting codel
- Maintain all accounting records and financial statements for all Group Holding companies
- Principle contact for overseas subsidiaries’ submissions
- Manage Group Transfer Pricing policy and cost allocation model
- Develop and maintain monthly group Cash Flow forecasting model
- Lead and manage the group cash management strategy
- Lead and manage the Groups compliance with cash and capital adequacy tests
- Lead the group consolidated accounting process
- Support complex acquisition and demerger accounting
- Develop and maintain WACC and impairment analysis
- Prepare Financial statements for specified group entities
- Manage audit for specified group entities including fieldwork management
- Support tax compliance for specified group entities
Skills required:
- GCSE’s in English Language and Mathematics
- ACA/ACCA Qualified or similar
- Experience in a financial management environment or similar
- Financial accounting and preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Knowledge of FRS102, IFRS, Lux and UK GAAP principles
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
- Understanding of controls in a financial reporting context
