Purpose of the role:
You will be expected to manage overseas representatives and ensure that they are meeting their objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the overseas representatives on a day-to-day basis and ensuring the KPIs are met
- Identifying opportunities for the overseas representatives to stage technical and promotional events (including arranging delegations) and assisting with the event management and targeting of potential attendees to ensure maximum attendance and impact
- Regular liaison with members through oversight of the Community of Interest Groups run by the overseas representatives in order to ensure the effective representation of the industry in the Regions
- Feeding back to CEO and/or the wider Leadership Team any relevant market intelligence which presents opportunities or threats to standing in the Regions
- In conjunction with the Leadership Team reviewing the geographic footprint ensuring market profile supports membership business opportunities and government priorities
Skills required:
- Experience of managing senior staff, ideally including remotely
- Sound knowledge of the industry together with enthusiasm to build in depth technical knowledge of its products and services and the regulatory environment by interacting with relevant professionals, government and the regulator over a period of time
- Marketing, media and public relations skills
- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to and articulate to a varying professional audience
