Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for leading a dedicated, cross-jurisdictional Client Due Diligence team working closely with the business to deliver superior client service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a dedicated team working closely with Governance Services business and clients to conduct CDD at on-boarding and ongoing client risk assessments
- Provide internal guidance and training on AML/ CFT, ABC and reputational risk to multiple cross-jurisdictional stakeholders on substantive matters involving client due-diligence and client risk assessment
- Working closely with the Governance Services Business Team Leaders and the firm, to develop and maintain efficient and effective procedures and communication across all jurisdictions
- Support the development and maintenance of the Governance Services on-boarding applications and interface with ViewPoint regarding CDD and client risk assessment
- Be an escalation contact for clients (both individual and representatives of corporate clients) on CDD requirements
Skills required:
- At least 5 years' experience working in a CDD/client take-on role within a regulated financial services business
- Proven knowledge of AML regulations for regulated businesses in Jersey and/or Guernsey, Cayman, BVI, HK and UK
- Solid knowledge of various client structures, including complex structures, in Jersey and/or Guernsey, Cayman, BVI, Hong Kong and UK
- Good IT skills (Microsoft suite) and the ability to quickly learn and use multiple client administration systems
