Fund Operations Director

Purpose of the role:

You will work closely with the Head of Funds on developing the operating platform for the Fund Services of to ensure that the Fund team has the tools and capabilities they need to deliver services to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and own the operating platform for Fund Services including systems and policies and procedures ensuring at all times that the funds business operates in accordance with the wider policies and procedures and technology approach
  • Be the funds business owner of the FIS PCS system, responsible for supplier relationships, ongoing development and support
  • Be the system super user for FIS PCS ensuring the business has the necessary set up and configuration available for investors, reporting, accounting and other functions in the system
  • Develop an ISAE3402 framework and lead the future audit process
  • Execute, within the business, strategic projects and operational initiatives for the funds business in all locations as well as dealing with operational aspects of business-as-usual
  • Assist with business development and client pitches providing operational insight to client opportunities

Skills required:

  • Previous experience within a relevant role, in a trust company business or equivalent
  • The ability to demonstrate a flexible and pro-active approach to problem solving, both in an individual capacity and as a part of a team 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional with a service orientated approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
