Fund Administrator

Purpose of the role:

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day administration of Debt funds and Managed Accounts in addition to assisting with the administration of various other funds.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend and take minutes of GP/Manager board meetings, including presenting investment or divestment recommendations and fielding, both before, during and following the board meetings, questions from the Directors
  • Co-ordinating and tracking investment approvals through to settlement by liaising directly with the debt investment team and use of/input into their portfolio management system
  • Responsibility for various tasks associated with calls, distributions and reporting
  • Payment preparation/formatting/review in respect of fund related payments (i.e., distributions/funds flows/trade settlement/FX/hedging) using eQ and Neolink
  • Familiarity with limited partnership and shareholders agreements and other fund related legal documents
  • Maintenance of limited partnership/shareholder registers using Viewpoint and other statutory records

Skills required:

  • Previous experience of Private Equity fund administration, 4 years minimum
  • Having previous trading/settlement experience on debt related instruments, or similar would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with limited partnership structures
  • Understanding of investments, funds, treasury functions and associated terminology
  • Hold or part way through study to obtain a professional qualification (ICSA/STEP)
