Purpose of the role:
Are you looking for a new challenge in a fast paced environment? Our client is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager/Project Accountant to be part of their ambitious, friendly in-house finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the firm's annual consolidated financial statements, along with individual company financial statements
- Monthly and annual consolidation of all group entities and subsequent reporting and analysis
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis from budget
- MI Analysis and presenting findings
- Preparing P+L, Balance Sheet and cashflow forecasts, and preparing departmental P&L reports on a monthly basis
- Working closely with the Head of Finance, ensuring that the financial data is prepared accurately and in a timely manner to senior management, partners and auditors
Skills required:
- Qualified Accountant, with a minimum of five years' accounting knowledge
- Commercial acumen
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of a practice management system; Elite 3e, Viewpoint would be useful but not essential
- Familiarity with financial consolidation and system/company integration is desirable
