Purpose of the role:
To support the Chief Financial Officer in the accounting and reporting of financial matters.
Responsibilities:
- Review of monthly management accounts and reconciliations, and variance reporting
- Liaison with external and internal Auditors
- Preparation of forecasts and annual budget
- Preparation of daily interest income and interest expense figures for senior management, and investigation of significant differences
- Monitor bank recs
- Asset and liability matching
- Run Channel Island Margin report
- Process monthly MIS entries
- Additional Liquidity monitoring reports
- Upload amortised loan fees to P&L monthly
- Complete monthly management accounts including detailed cost analysis and commentaries
Skills required:
- Part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ICAEW)
- Experience in financial reporting, especially IFRS
- Globus experience (Temenos T24)
- Ideally Hyperion experience
- Excel experience
- Ability to work under pressure/prioritise
