Purpose of the role:
The main purpose of the role is to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information as well as fulfilling local requirements around accounting, audit and tax compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Audited Financial Statements for Limited companies in IFRS
- Preparation of Consolidated Group Financial Statements in IFRS as well as being involved in the audit of those Group Financial Statements
- Day to day bookkeeping of wide variety of Private Equity investments and fair market values of those investments
- Month end close processes for Jersey General Partners and management entities
- Liaise closely with other teams and offices within the group to ensure efficient and effective sharing of information so that accruals and recharges between entities are timely and accurate
- Work closely with the centralised finance operations team in Jersey to ensure day to day operations run smoothly so that suppliers and staff expense reclaims are paid accurately and on time
