Purpose of the role:
Our client is seeking someone who is self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team to support the Financial Controllers and Group Accountant in maintaining and developing the financial accounting function in a rapidly growing organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on the production of financial statements for companies and consolidated groups of the Group under IFRS/UK GAAP
- Support the audit with the production of supporting documentation
- Support group wide consolidation accounting and preparation of financial statements
- Support monthly group reporting processes
- Support Intercompany balance reconciliations
- Review, document and continually improve procedures
Skills required:
- Part of fully qualified Accountant
- Experience of preparation of financial Statements under IFRS and/or UK GAAP either in an Internal Finance function or in a Client service area required
- Experience of multi company consolidation work
- Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Minimum intermediate level Excel skills
- Knowledge of CaseWare or other financial statement production tools
