Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to support their business's continued growth, by providing timely and accurate financial and management information.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a robust and continually evolving control environment is maintained, including maintenance of all balance sheet reconciliations
- Review of work of junior members of the team to ensure quality control
- Management and mentoring of staff
- Creation, analysis and support of management information to the business
- Responsible for the development and delivery of management and statutory financial statements
Skills required:
- Be expected to hold a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) and minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
- Experience of producing thoughtful and relevant management information, acting as a commercially minded financial business partner to other business areas
- Demonstrable experience of managing, coaching and developing a team
- Sound technical accounting and reporting experience
- Advanced Excel skills essential, system experience of [3e, Concur, Power BI] beneficial
