Purpose of the role:
You'll help develop the Company by providing and promoting a first class personal service to existing and prospective clients. Work closely with Co-Directors and the wider management team to ensure business growth, focusing on the Jersey Corporate offering as a priority, and that the regulatory, Compliance, Corporate Governance and internal administration needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure Group service standards are delivered consistently
- Understand and apply local legislation relating to the conduct of trust / fiduciary business to ensure that the business complies with regulatory requirements
- Collate KYC, act as first line of defence in line with the onboarding policies and procedures, and the AML/CFT policies of the business
- Efficiency - Ensure efficiency by working closely with the technical team to continually develop systems and procedures to optimise team resources locally in conjunction with wider group
- Managing client service teams, assisting with their development, training, performance management, and setting of their annual objectives
- Business development: working with the client teams preparing proposals for new business
- Strong debtor management, aged debtors to remain <10% LTM revenue
- Assist the Corporate Service Team in achieving and exceeding utilisation targets
Skills required:
- An approved person as required by the regulator
- Hold a professionally qualified and a member of STEP or ICSA qualified or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as accountancy or operational management
- Have extensive working knowledge of the Corporate Services and support operations
- Strong management and leadership experience
- Results focused with excellent team building and team working skills.
- Effective delegator
