About the role:
The position reports to the Head of the Family Office, Jersey. This role involves close and regular interaction with relationship managers, clients, advisors, co-trustees as well as other divisions and business units within the Group across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities:
· Maintain knowledge of client’s circumstances, background and structures.
· Provide expert-level technical guidance and oversight on complex transactions and documentation and specifically support relationship managers.
· Provide strategic input and add value by proposing effective solutions in the context of complex transactional and family matters.
· Lead, develop and mentor trust administrators.
Key skills and experience:
· Educated to degree level (master in law, qualified lawyer or equivalent preferred)
· A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
· Private client experiences an advantage
· A practical knowledge of trust and company legislation as well as best practice
