Purpose of the role:
To lead on the delivery and proactive development of a Funds & Institutional team, of which you will be a key member.
Responsibilities:
- You will be required to manage key client relationships through effective leadership of teams to deliver exceptional service to the business and clients
- Lead and add value to the Client Service Delivery team and continually look for ways to help the team get better at what they do, in the most efficient way possible
- Actively manage the performance management and development of all direct reports, ensure that all reporting deadlines are met, with oversight on planning, scheduling, and monitoring of workloads and take ownership of the performance of the team(s) to achieve all desired results
- Be a member of Risk and Operations Committees
- Identify improvements in policies and procedures
- Assist with the development of systems and procedures
- You will also need to: develop and monitor the implementation of strategic business plans and recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities; work closely with the Business Development and Support teams in order to grow and support the Funds & Institutional team, and maintain and build client relationships and act as a client relationship lead assisting the teams in the event of any issues
Skills required:
- The right to live and work in Jersey
- Hold relevant qualifications, eg ACA, ACCA. ICAEW, ICSA or equivalent
- Considerable practical business and post qualification experience in the Financial Services sector with a focus on fund administration
- Sound technical professional services knowledge
- Strong demonstrable experience in the day to day supervision of team(s)
- Evidence of full responsibility for major client relationship(s)
