Purpose of the role:
As the Custody Clerk, you will deliver the joined-up client experience by ensuring the day to day running of the custody service.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with outsourced service providers in the UK and the sub custodian as required
- Arrange and facilitate regular oversight meetings to track service delivery
- Prepare monthly Management Information reports and KPIs for management meetings
- Review processes and workflows to ensure the efficient provision of service to the clients
- Assist the Head of Investment services in undertaking investment reviews and keeping all investment related policy and procedures up to date
Skills required:
- Investment qualifications preferred but not a requirement
- A detailed understanding of investments and safe custody of assets is essential including full knowledge of the investment process, investment reporting and investment events
- A good understanding of the Jersey regulatory environment in relation to investment and custody services
- Previous experience working with outsourced services, dealing with suppliers, is preferred
- You should be inquisitive, collaborative, and eager to investigate and resolve problems at every point
