Custody Clerk (Part-time)

Purpose of the role:

As the Custody Clerk, you will deliver the joined-up client experience by ensuring the day to day running of the custody service.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with outsourced service providers in the UK and the sub custodian as required
  • Arrange and facilitate regular oversight meetings to track service delivery
  • Prepare monthly Management Information reports and KPIs for management meetings
  • Review processes and workflows to ensure the efficient provision of service to the clients
  • Assist the Head of Investment services in undertaking investment reviews and keeping all investment related policy and procedures up to date

Skills required:

  • Investment qualifications preferred but not a requirement
  • A detailed understanding of investments and safe custody of assets is essential including full knowledge of the investment process, investment reporting and investment events
  • A good understanding of the Jersey regulatory environment in relation to investment and custody services
  • Previous experience working with outsourced services, dealing with suppliers, is preferred
  • You should be inquisitive, collaborative, and eager to investigate and resolve problems at every point
