Purpose of the role:
You will support the in-house Corporate Governance team to ensure that they meet its regulatory and governance requirements. You will be responsible for undertaking a variety of project and administrative work, at a senior level.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with filings or notifications to the relevant regulatory authorities including ensuring that corporate records are updated as appropriate
- Providing ad-hoc support to the directors of the in-house entities and liaising with other departments and third parties, as required
- Supporting project work as required, undertaking initiatives identified and designated from time to time
- Assisting with the building, and on occasion, leading the development of tech solutions to support efficiencies within the in-house Corporate Governance team
- Contribute to the business by identifying improvements in processes, policies and procedures on governance matters
- Acting as a mentor and assisting in the training and development of staff within the Corporate Governance team
- Such other duties as the business may reasonably require from time to time
Skills required:
- A self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
- Previous experience working in industry and/or professional practice
- Ideally holding relevant professional qualifications such as ICSA/STEP
- You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in the use of Outlook, Excel and Word. Previous experience with ViewPoint is advantageous, but not essential, as training will be provided
- Excellent organisation, administration and communication skills to undertake work at a high standard and of a confidential nature
- Administrative and document management experience
