Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for a Corporate Governance expert (at either Manager or Senior Manager level) to join their team and take responsibility for their internal governance.
Responsibilities:
- To own and have a strong working knowledge of the in-house corporate governance framework documentation
- Provide full board support to the in house entities (including managing the process of creating agendas, collating and distributing board packs, liaising with relevant business directors, managing of board meetings, producing detailed board minutes, distribution of board minutes, arranging for signature and carrying out any post-meeting actions as required)
- Provide support with filings or notifications to various regulatory authorities including ensuring that corporate records are updated in a timely manner, as appropriate
- Working with certain external service providers in connection with corporate governance matters
Skills required:
- Strong managerial experience in industry and/or professional practice with relevant ICSA/STEP/ACCA qualifications
- Strong people and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of regulatory environments with experience of liaising with regulators
- Proficient in Word/Outlook and a working knowledge of Excel
- Superior organisation, administration and communication skills to undertake work at a high-level and of a confidential nature
