Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for a self-motivated and highly organised individual with strong technical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full board support to in-house entities, primarily by managing the process for the legal side of the business, including creating agendas, collating and distributing board packs, liaising with relevant business directors, managing of board meetings, producing detailed and potentially complex board minutes, distribution of board minutes, arranging for signature and carrying out any post-meeting actions as required
- Provide corporate governance support to the in-house entities ensuring the business continues to operate to high standards of corporate governance, as agreed
- Assist with filings or notifications to the relevant regulatory authorities including ensuring that corporate records are updated as appropriate
- Provide ad-hoc support to the directors of the in-house entities and liaise with other departments and third parties, as required
- Act as four eyes check within the team, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures, as appropriate
Skills required:
- Previous experience in industry and/or professional practice with relevant qualifications, ideally ICSA/STEP/ACCA
- Knowledge of the operations of a legal business an advantage but not essential
- Knowledge of regulatory environments an advantage but not essential
- Strong technical skills and service delivery
