Purpose of the role:
The role will involve assisting with the design and running controls testing and compliance monitoring plans for TCB and FSB regulated entities to assess control effectiveness and monitor compliance with regulatory and legal frameworks, internal policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the development and prioritisation of annual controls testing and compliance monitoring plan
- Undertaking all aspects of controls testing and compliance monitoring
- Assisting in the reporting and monitoring closure of outstanding actions
- Testing for other jurisdictions
- Assisting with provision of training to the wider business
- Assist with JFSC’s risk-based supervision data collection
- Undertake/organise project work and related reporting
Skills required:
- Strong ability to prioritise work
- Strong knowledge of administration services - fund services, corporate and private client
- Controls testing experience - identifying controls, designing tests, reporting results
- Broad understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements for TCB and FSB
- Risk management awareness
- Effective communication skills
- Strong numeracy, written and IT skills - spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word
- Strong academic background and relevant qualification(s)
