Purpose of the role:
Assist in all aspects of Compliance and the anti-financial crime controls as required to assess, evaluate, report and minimise compliance risk within the business.
Responsibilities:
- Appointed as a Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer, to operate in accordance with the Terms of Reference for the position
- Secretary of Risk Committee of the Board to include convening the meetings, preparing the meeting packs, attending and taking minutes of all meetings
- Act as a member of the New Business and Risk Committee in accordance with the Terms of Reference for these Committees
- Assist with the review, development and maintenance of the business’s policies and procedures and the Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP)
- Carry out all tasks assigned as part of the annual Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) and other Compliance task lists
- Conducting reviews of the CMP work carried out by other members of Compliance
- Provide advice and guidance to the business and where relevant to other Compliance staff to enable the business to operate efficiently and effectively in meeting its regulatory and legislative obligations
Skills required:
- Roles at this level will be required to be professionally qualified in their area of expertise together with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

- Excellent knowledge of compliance and anti-money laundering issues and the regulatory framework
