Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for a Company Secretary, Senior Manager to join their fantastic team.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the calendar of Board meetings (Meetings), co-ordinating diaries, including issuing notice and managing attendance for quorum purposes
- Collating board reports from various sources, preparing agendas and board packs for all meetings, meeting deadlines for circulation
- Attending meetings, taking minutes, preparing and circulating formal minutes, liaising with the Chair as required, arranging signature following Board approval
- Developing and maintaining an action list from all meetings where you are responsible for the minutes, ensuring that relevant personnel are reminded of deadlines to be met
- Ensuring adherence to the requirements of the Corporate Governance section of the Policies and Procedures
- Line management responsibilities
- To assist with relevant partnership matters as required
Skills required:
- Relevant professional qualification e.g. ICSA
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in financial services
- Good working knowledge of company administration
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop working relationships with different individuals at a senior level
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
