Our client is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Fund Administration team to service the company secretarial needs of a portfolio of regulated investment managers, funds and subsidiaries under a rigorous control framework, and managing the delivery of our company secretarial services as prescribed under the Jersey Companies Law and pursuant to services set out in our terms of business with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Boards of regulated Fund Services Businesses as well as the Boards of a variety of regulated funds (including, but not limited to, AIFs, Expert Funds and Unclassified Funds)
- Attendance at all regular board meetings including preparation of agendas, electronic board papers and facilitating the production of timely, accurate minutes and actions arising from these meetings
- Attending to Jersey statutory filings (i.e. Jersey annual confirmation statements, ISE returns, Jersey tax and substance returns) in accordance with applicable deadlines, maintaining accurate statutory records, registers and books
- Keep up to date with Jersey statutory and regulatory frameworks and the periodic amendments thereto to ensure client entities remain fully compliant with their obligations
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 8-10 years’ relevant experience in the finance industry preferred
- Strong academic background, and working towards or holding a professional qualification such as ICSA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Jersey Companies Law, and the regulatory framework would be an advantage
