Purpose of the role:
Operating as part of a Finance function, this role will be focussed on delivering strategic projects that improve the profitability of the firm through increased financial efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the senior members of the Finance team to identify industry trends and value creation opportunities to maximise the potential of the team and efficiency of the firm
- Work with the wider Finance team and monitor internal and external processes and identify and deliver process improvements and automation
- Play a key role in driving and implementing change projects in the Finance team
- Create and contribute towards business cases for Finance change projects that support the wider strategic objectives
- Act as Finance lead for all transformation reporting and provide ad hoc data analysis as required
Skills required:
- Qualified accountant preferred (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or part qualified with appropriate experience would be considered
- Experience with using ViewPoint /Aderant Expert or other fiduciary services / law firm practice management software preferred, but not essential
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience of implementing technical system changes preferred, but not essential
