Purpose of the role:
To provide business benefits with the enhancement and transformation of cloud technologies and infrastructure services. Leveraging advancements in technology to adapt and improve the capabilities of a technology systems to meet business requirements and improve the technology experience for clients and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Product Manager for a set of key infrastructure systems and develop sufficient knowledge to become the subject matter expert in a set of assigned technologies
- Assist in the design and management of the group's cloud systems, applications, policies, to help with the execution of a cloud first strategy
- Ensure security management and privacy requirements are included into all cloud technology systems
- Assist in the move to the cloud, overseeing the process, migration, maintaining and supporting the new systems
- Coordinate with other team members and communicate with management regarding the progress of a cloud migration project(s)
- Take a security first approach to all infrastructure tasks, ensuring that security is built into the design of everything that is implemented
- Encourage staff awareness of cyber security risks and of best practise guidelines
- Ensure security and privacy best practices, policies and procedures are considered as part of all technology changes
Skills required:
- Three to five years' experience working with infrastructure systems and services
- Advanced systems analysis methods, practices, and principles
- Infrastructure system troubleshooting methods
- Be capable of providing excellent customer service
- Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
