Purpose of the role:
As the Client Services Director of the Corporate Division in Jersey, you will be an integral part of the senior management team responsible for developing, growing and operational excellence for a growing corporate team in Jersey.
Responsibilities:
- Create strong relationships with other business lines, peers and colleagues to ensure effective visibility and increased workability to deliver the wider jurisdiction and divisional business plan alongside the Head of Corporate
- Provide client Directorships and signatory requirements for the portfolio, in addition to supporting the wider business as required
- Have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Corporate team, providing technical assistance, attending to all HR matters as the first line of responsibility and performing all requisite one to ones, appraisals for direct reportees and KPI setting
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and ensuring the portfolio and team members are meeting the targets set
- Ensure the debt book of the team is maintained and that cash collections meet targets
- Lead larger client relationships, ensuring their needs are fulfilled by the team with strong governance considerations and timely execution of activities at the forefront of the teams mind
Skills required:
- A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in administration
- A relevant professional table 4 qualification recognised by the JFSC, such as STEP/ICSA Diploma (now CGI), ACCA or an applicable Law/Accountancy degree
- Established relationships across lawyers, accountants, advisers etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels

- The ability to work using your own initiative and make decisions within corporate policies
