Purpose of the role:
You will help develop the business by providing and promoting a first class personal service to existing and prospective clients, working closely with Co-directors and wider management team to ensure business growth and ensuring that the regulatory and internal administration needs of the business are met.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to achieve the sales targets through cross selling and up selling existing client base and supporting New Business initiatives of Solutions/Business Development team
- Play an active role in agreeing Jersey fee scales, budgets, targets etc.
- Contribute to the development of new products and identification of new areas of work
- Identify opportunities for jurisdictional expansion and start up opportunities
- Responsible for an administration team, led by a Senior Manager
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control standards/processes within Jersey Client Services teams
- Ensure can do, solutions based culture is evident across Jersey operational /Client Services teams
- Act as Relationship Lead/overseer to major/complex clients
- Act as a Director on a select portfolio of client directorships
Skills required:
- Will be an approved Person as required by the local regulator
- Will typically be a member of STEP or ICSA or may have an equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as accountancy or operational management
- Will have extensive working knowledge of Trust and Corporate Services
- Will have good business acumen with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate team members
