Client Relationship Manager - Corporate (Fund)

Purpose of the role:

To be responsible for all aspects of the client service of a group of real estate and private equity funds.

Responsibilities:

  • Being the principal contact with the Client and the Directors of the relevant boards in relation to all accounting and administrative aspects
  • Liaising with lawyers, tax advisers, other administrators and regulatory authorities in relation to ad hoc transactions
  • Managing the investor query flow and responding to complex queries that arise
  • Reviewing and authorisation of payments and assisting with other general administrative matters
  • Overseeing the audit process and liaising with external independent auditors in connection with the financial reporting process and sign-off, including assisting with the resolution of complex accounting matters and audit queries (if the candidate is a qualified accountant)

Skills required:

  • Professional qualification, including in the accountancy field (e.g. ACA/CA/ACCA or equivalent) or chartered secretary (e.g. ICSA or equivalent)
  • Real estate or private equity accounting exposure
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel (intermediate level)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking and leadership experience with an emphasis on relationship management
  • The ability to communicate at all levels
