Purpose of the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting and administration of a group of Real Estate and Private Equity Funds.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing of all client financial and investor reporting, including consolidations
- Reviewing of bookkeeping and supporting calculations (e.g. loan interest, accruals etc.)
- Being the principle contact with the Client and the Directors of the relevant boards in relation to all accounting aspects
- Overseeing the audit process and liaising with external independent auditors in connection with the financial reporting process and sign-off, including assisting with the resolution of complex accounting matters and audit queries
- Liaising with Lawyers, other Administrators and regulatory authorities in relation to the accounting aspects of ad hoc transactions
- Supervising, training and development of individuals reporting into you and assisting with the same for members of the administration team (where applicable)
Skills required:
- ACA/CA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
- Real estate or private equity accounting exposure
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel (intermediate level)
