Purpose of the role
The Client Director role accountable for a client portfolio of trust, company and/or private office activity and is expected to lead the delivery of the relationships and associated work. The Client Director will balance leading the team, developing a growing book of business and delivering the client administration. With extensive experience and a broad network within the industry and across range of intermediaries the role holder will be helping to grow the business.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the provision of a quality service (trust and company administration, fiduciary services and/ or private client work) to targeted clients through developing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Responsible for the revenue generation and profitable delivery of client service through efficient delivery of client work, appropriate delegation within the team and accurate recording of time allocation, and eventual billing to the client.
• Identify opportunities and assisting in the implementation of new business ideas leading to the development of new streams of income from current clients.
Skills required:
• Sound knowledge of global economic climate and impact on clients and the industry
• Demonstrates excellent relationship management skills - ability to create and maintain strong relationships, understanding clients’ needs, wishes and interests as a starting point for enhancing and developing long-term mutually beneficial relationships
• Applies a sound knowledge of fiduciary functions, investment products and principles, accounting, commercial law and asset management principles and able to provide technical advice to members of the teams
