Purpose of the role:
Working within the Jersey Client Accounting team, this role will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day integrity of ledgers, assisting in the preparation of financial statements along with attending client board meetings and presenting financial information. In this role you will be the central point of contact for external auditor liaisons for a number of clients, developing strong relationships with clients and other internal teams and service lines along with reviewing the input of bookkeepers.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and ensuring procedures and controls are maintained and followed at all times
- Routine month end / quarter end management accounts preparation for a portfolio of clients
- Preparing annual Financial Statements for a portfolio of clients
Skills required:
- Looking for an individual who is either part qualified with ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) or having completed and passed some exams, ideally with previous experience in a client facing role.
- You will be approachable with a 'can do’ positive attitude, and a client service mentality.
- You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in the use of MS Excel.
