Purpose of the role:
To ensure the smooth running of the office and reception area and to provide general assistance and support where required and be adaptable to a variety of circumstances.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the online portals for all electronic statements/valuations received and the profiling of these documents
- Assist with the scanning of daily post and banking/investment documents as and when required
- Scan documents of value and their profiling as and when required to assist the client teams
- Provide cover to Reception for holidays, sickness and as and when required during a normal working day
- To answer the telephone according to Company policy, transfer calls and take detailed messages
- To greet clients in a friendly and efficient manner
- To sign for deliveries and arrange for couriers to collect packages
- To advise the client teams and directors of incoming hand deliveries and faxes and date stamp them
Skills required:
- Knowledge of the system/process/operating environment and may have specific responsibility for a clearly defined section or sub-section of work
- Independence and initiative in the arrangement of immediate work priorities is required to react to changing priorities
