Purpose of the role:
The Business Analyst will report to the Business Analysis Manager and be responsible for the eliciting of requirements, analysis gathering and delivery support for global business transformation initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Work with teams to devise and deliver relevant support material based on process changes or systems enhancements
- Support post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved
- Attend and undertake activities coming out of design forums, working with relevant suppliers to ensure that necessary tasks are completed with supporting documentation
- Map and document processes (as is/to be)
- Work with the subject matter experts and Project team to co-ordinate testing, build test packs and ensuring that all testing is completed and signed off in readiness for implementation
- Identify training requirements and work with the relevant teams to design and deliver training material
- Provide project management holiday cover
Skills required:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements
- The ability to consider and challenge the core needs and requirements to ensure it aligns to overarching strategy and objectives
- Understanding of project management methodologies and experience with 'agile' is a plus
- Experience of the whole project life cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage in between
