About the role:
This is a hands-on, full spectrum senior bookkeeping role within a small, high net worth single family office environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial bookkeeping of multiple entities, including investment and financing companies.
Key responsibilities:
• Full-cycle bookkeeping: posting entries, cash book maintenance, and preparing accounts to trial balance (TB)
• Prepare and submit returns and assist with corporate filing preparation
• Loading payments and managing supplier schedules, and domestic bills
• Perform bank reconciliations, interest postings, and journal of investment revaluations (half-yearly)
Key skills and experience:
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within a family office or multi-entity environment
• Strong understanding of multi-currency accounting and intercompany reconciliations
• Experience with Jersey governance and reporting • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software (desirable)
• Comfortable with office 365 applications – especially Excel
