Purpose of the role:
This is a great opportunity to gain a broad exposure to both the accounting and operational functions of a global organisation, offering support for professional development and providing a springboard in the future to develop and specialise across either accounting or operations. The applicant will bookkeep, prepare financial statements, provide general assistance with tasks such as periodic reporting across the team.
Responsibilities:
- To undertake day-to-day bookkeeping from source documents including banking systems, bank statements, investment valuations, property statements and minutes, along with other sources of information.
- To review entity ledgers and bookkeeping records in advance of accounts preparation by accounts preparer.
- Understand and acknowledge the need for change.
- Strictly practice the maintenance of client confidentiality
- To provide periodic reporting on clients where necessary.
- From time to time to undertake specific additional tasks or projects as advised
