Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for the control and implementation of specific operational and regulatory activities and projects including the delivery of certain policies and procedures, along with systems and controls for the Private Wealth and Funds & Institutional business units.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of regulatory reporting requirements, including local and overseas FATCA and CRS reporting, Economic Substance for local and overseas entities, Jersey Tax Returns and country by country reporting
- Responsible for ongoing data quality checks and remediation where required in relation to all aspects of Jersey Registry and regulatory reporting requirements
- Oversight of the RRT and BST mailboxes and responding to technical queries
- Keep abreast of upcoming legislative or regulatory changes that may impact widely on the client entities and the company (excluding AML/CFT changes)
Skills required:
- In depth knowledge of FATCA & CRS and other regulatory legislation
- Excellent knowledge of offshore financial services and underlying product and service rationales and technologies
- Professionally qualified and holder of a relevant qualification from a recognised professional body/Financial Institution
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Extensive experience within the offshore trust Industry
